Urszula Jeruszka - Economic Effectiveness of Higher Education
The article discusses the meaning of higher educations a driving force behind the development of economy and society. The most significant directions of change in higher education are shown. Moreover, special attention is paid to the state of higher education in Poland and the problem of its effective. The article concludes with the discussion about method to improve the effective if institutions of higher education in Poland, which are already responding to the needs of society and economy and expectations employers.

Anna Kiersztyn - Rational Investments or False Hopes: Overeducation on the Polish LaboUr Market
This article analyzes the incidence and dynamics of overeducation on the Polish labor market. It is based on data from a panel survey (POLPAN), conducted on a representative random sample of individuals aged over 20 in the years 1998-2008. According to the data from the last panel wave, currently around one out of five Polish workers are in occupations below their skill level. The incidence of such mismatches increased almost threefold since 1988. Further analyzes found that overeducation was characterized by relatively high persistence. The risk of persistent overschooling was several times higher among the youngest cohorts of respondents.

Piotr Szukalski - Teenage Maternity in Contemporary Poland
After two decades when teenager fertility was rapidly diminishing in Poland the last few years are period of opposite changes. In the article attention was paid to the demographic background of the changes observed in the last decades and its spatial diversity. Because the most important subpopulation from the point of view of social policy "old hands" are extremely young mothers (i.e. aged 16 and less), mothers with at least two children, and mothers with no partner support accessible data on the three groups were presented.

Małgorzata Serwach - Contextuality of the Medical Services Recipients' Rights
Act of patient laws and Spokesman Patient Laws from 6.11.2008 includes index of rights, which were admitted person, who were given medical healthy services. Subject of this article are primary patient laws to healthy services and medical procedure paid from public money. These rights are in parallel, this is why is necessary case study of each law. Author of this article presents difference between individual rights and comparison them. All this issue were present background on rich judgment of polish courts.

Joanna Szymanowska - Local Government and Non-governmental Organizations: Cooperation Serving Disabled. Example from District of Sokółka
The article contains results of my own investigations pertaining to the difficulties with helping the disabled in their living environment. The study group consisted of 66 people employed in autonomous institutions as well as private organizations located in the Sokółka district of the Podlaskie province. The goal of the study was to recognize the extent, form and effectiveness of the collaboration between public institutions and the non-profit sector.

Paweł Hut - Displacement Processes Contemporary in Finland
This article describes started at 80. the displacement action former soviet citizens to Finland. Permanent/hard settling was tied in Finland with activity of government office and social policy institutions. Process was tied with many problems at the adaptation process. Besides, indicates on diminishing number Finns in former USSR area. In effect of led action ca. 40 thousand persons arrived to Finland. Characteristic of displacement process in Finland is required period of stay in new country before enforcement of citizenship status.
